One Month Out: Training, Fundraising, and the Final Push

It’s hard to believe, but I’m officially just shy of a month away from stepping into the ring for Haymakers for Hope. What started as a commitment to challenge myself has grown into one of the most intense, humbling, and meaningful experiences of my life.
The training has shifted into a different gear lately. The easy days are gone — if they ever existed at all. Now it’s bloody noses, cramped calves, long nights, and early mornings. It’s the kind of grind that forces you to confront yourself, your limits, and the reasons you’re doing this in the first place. And somehow, through all of it, the momentum is real. Every session sharpens something. Every setback teaches something. I can feel myself getting stronger, more composed, and more locked in as fight night approaches.
On the fundraising side, I’m incredibly grateful to share that we’ve raised close to $8,000 so far. That number isn’t just a milestone — it’s a reflection of the people who have shown up with generosity, encouragement, and belief in this mission. Every donation, every message, every share has pushed this effort forward. I carry that with me into every round of training.
Now comes the final stretch — the last month to close the gap and hit the full fundraising goal. This is where every bit of support truly matters. If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, this is the moment. The finish line is in sight, and together we can make a real impact for the fighters and families this fundraiser supports
How You Can Help in This Final Stretch
If you’re looking for a way to support, here are three meaningful options:
1. Purchase a Fight Night Ticket
2. Make a Direct Donation
Every dollar goes straight to cancer research and patient support programs. No amount is too small. Donate here
3. Grab Some “Knock Out Cancer” Swag
T‑shirts to help raise funds and spread the mission. Wear it proudly and rep the cause. Get your swag
As always, I am incredibly grateful for your support to help knock out cancer!
Luchando por los luchadores.
